Müjde Ar, one of the important names of Turkish Cinema, is very troubled by the fake accounts opened in her name on social media!

The 68-year-old artist learned that more than 10 fake accounts were opened using her name on Twitter and other platforms. He took legal action through his lawyer Bişar Abdi Altınak.

Speaking to journalist Olcay Ünal Sert, Müjde Ar said, "The IP number of those who post using my name will be determined and necessary action will be taken through legal means. I definitely do not have an account on Twitter, "It will not happen. With what right do they use my name? They will be held accountable before justice," he said:

Müjde Ar's Lawyer Bişar Alinak said, "We filed a criminal complaint against these accounts that made statements as if they were my client, using the fact that my client is a reliable person." The posts and contents made do not belong to Müjde Ar. If the perpetrator or perpetrators are found, they will be tried with a prison sentence of between 2 and 4 years.

To protect my client's personal rights and ensure that in case a crime is committed with those fake accounts, they do not belong to him. We applied to the prosecutor's office to determine. Even if statements were made about my client's world view, this is a crime. He can make a statement on those issues if he wishes. "When a crime is committed with fake accounts, in legal situations, people may have to prove that the account does not belong to them," he said.
